Technician drilled through our gas…
Technician drilled through our gas pipe! Had to shut everything down. Southern Gas Network, managed to keep our boiler running but we had no gas for cooking for 3 days. The disaster happened on a Friday, SGN had to move our meter and supply, which they completed on Monday, however to find the gas pipe they had to dig a 2' trench across the front of the garage, so we could not get the car in and out. Finally got the gas back on on Monday teatime and two days later they came and filled in the trench so that I could get the car in the garage again. I've as yet not had a bill from Southern Gas Networks but when I do I shall be presenting it to Wessex Internet
