Americans Beware
Americans Beware! Unfortunately I had the displeasure of renting a car from this company while traveling to visit family I picked up the car from the Milan Linate Airport. I grew up driving a standard so I didn't think I would have any issues. I realized into the trip that I could not figure out how to put the car in reverse. I called the company and told them I couldn't get it into reverse. Marco told me...bring the car back. I had to drive the hour back from Brescia. As I entered the parking lot I realized I was in a closed lane. Luckily an older gentleman was walking by. I explained the car was broken and I couldn't get it in reverse. He hops on and viola, he puts it in reverse. Apparently you have to pull up to put in in reverse. I go inside and explain to Marco I had to drive the hour back and he apologized for not explaining it to me instead of having me return to the airport. I turn the car in and they charge me an additional fee because the gauge is just Infront of full. Then they lie and say they tried to explain how to put the car in reverse but I didn't understand. If a company can't be honest go elsewhere.
