I have read a lot of disappointing reviews from other Dan Murphy customers & I have have now experienced one of the worst examples of a business that truly does not give a dam about customer service as I have now been let down at every contact I have attempted to make with this business. It started with trying to order a large pile of alcohol in time for all our Xmas party’s to avoid having to stop at liquor stores on the way to party’s at this time of year ( failed as not alcohol turned up in time ( 3 weeks) for any of our parties) I could not get any one store to supply my whole order so after speaking with someone from Dan Murphys it was recommended that I place my order online & have it all delivered for 1 delivery fee. OMG have I been screwed around ever since I hit the enter button as not only did I eventually get a call to ask if I could come pick up my large order ( even though I already paid a delivery fee ) but when I went to pick it up half my order was missing !!! So now the multitude of calls from myself to their 1300 number to sit on hold for an average of 15-20 mins whilst listening to the voiceover telling me about the wonderful delivery service that will deliver any day you require, BAH, then I would get to deal with their customer care team ( who keep telling me they will send a ticket to escalate my missing order) when I didn’t hear for the next 2-3 days I would have to ring again trying to find Out why I haven’t heard from anyone again. The Whole time everyone at Murphy’s would always blame Auspost but never take any responsibility for the issue. I tried several times to request another delivery but was always told I had to wait for this order to turn up or I could cancel the delivery & come & repurchase the missing alcohol but NO refund would come until they received the MISSING cartons back OMG !! So as long as Dan Murphy’s has your money good luck at getting an result from their so called customer care as they TRULY DO NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF The TERM. I will never shop here again regardless of the price as the difficulty I had is an experience I never wish to have again. Regards Ross Ledger
