Poor communicators
Until a month ago I would have said ‘smooth and efficient’. I am at the cusp of exchanging on a property I’m selling in a chain free sale, with a cash buyer and all communication from conveyancing direct has ceased. Literally. I was asked for some paperwork about the management company which was sent across over 2 weeks ago. We were all hoping for exchange by now and completion this week, but despite no less than 6 documented attempts to contact my solicitor (via voicemails, portal notes, and emails) and complaints via the agent who suggested I use them I am being totally ignored. It’s not just unprofessional it’s rude and insulting to not reply to a client asking for an update on their case.
