Don't let them off the hook. They don't communicate clearly.
On top of what everybody is saying here (10x the chrarge, etc), i find it most disgusting that this company replies trying to defend themselves saying they "CLEARY" state that they are not a government website. Here's what they don't admit: When you select your language (my mum chose hungarian, as she doesn't speak english) this message still shows up in english. This is NOT acceptable, and it misleads vulnerable people. The user unterface is hungarian but the message at the beginning of the procedure reads in English: "Travel Assistance Company. Not a Government Website". (All capitals, so unprofessional too!). How exactly is a non-English speaker make an informed decision here??? This is a disgusting business practice that preys on people who will now feel guilty and worried throughout the border control, because, honestly, how could you trust a company to supply you with adequate travel documents if their entire setup is purposely built to be misleading. I'll escalate this further, because this is unacceptable. EDIT: In their response they say there was no money charged without ever asking who muy mum was to identify the transaction, and after in fact, it was indeed deducted from her account. She should know. She works in a bank. Liars liars liars. EDIT2: They have reimbursed my mum (presumably based on my name displayed on Trustpilot, cross referenced with hers. What if I was called Smith, I wonder. ). It is not true that they never charged her account. They just reimbursed her when the floor got hot here. Now they're asking ME to provide my personal details so they can look into the issue more. Because my mum's passport data is not enough for them, they want more personal stuff from people who didn't even do business with them. Why wouldn't I supply them, right, after all, they sound like such a trustworthy company! This is pathetic.
