Run away if you're buyer is using Simply Conveyancing
157 days from agreement to completion (current average 97 in a slow market) ; repeated the same 40 questions 3 times - my solicitor had to connect the dots for them pointing out how the leases over the years actually answered their questions; they couldn't even find the Residents Company's accounts at Companies House and didn't recognize that a company stamp equated to a signature on one of the forms! These people had no interest in the effective and efficient progress of the transaction and were more interested in excuses when I complained. I cannot understand why Dexter's even thought that recommending them to my buyer was a good idea! Simply Conveyancing have responded asking for more information. When I complained to Dexters they were provided with an even more detailed list of their failures and their response was to deny any responsibility and suggest I use their complaints process knowing that as I was not their client they could just ignore it, why would I waste my time (as I suspect the others in this list of negative reviews have done)....
