I want my money back. Where is my refund?
I made a reservation with booking.com and the transaction didn’t go through and I was charged £359.18. Fifteen days ago. Booking sent me one email saying: Unfortunately, there was a problem with processing your booking at MILANO FOR GUEST- Angela Apartment Duomo and we weren't able to confirm your reservation. As your payment has already been processed, we have automatically started the refund process. Refunds usually arrive in your account within 7-12 days, though this may vary. The excuse was completely without any sense. The money left my account I sent the email from booking.com proving that they collected my money but they didn’t refund me. They sent me this document: We’re sorry - we can’t recover your disputed payment We haven’t been able to recover your disputed payment and, unfortunately, this means we can’t give you a refund It’s possible the company may give you a refund if you contact them directly. Alternatively, you can contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau. We understand this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for. This is the worst bank. Another thing: if you pay in euros the conversion is very unfair also. choose another bank because this one doesn't care about its customers.
