I think this is a good opportunity to make an individual contribution against climate change by investing in a wind farm. But also with the recent energy price hikes; the form of the return through reduction of electricity bills is attractive. The web site gives useful calculators to enable you to estimate the financial implications of investing and to choose your quantum of energy based on usage. Also if that changes say because of electric cars or heat pumps, you can invest in more capacity in the future. The one aspect of the offering that might be more comprehensive is the very limited choice of energy suppliers - this might lead to being locked into a supplier who then hikes the gas price and nullifies any saving.
