Avoid at All Costs – Unfair Policies and Poor Service
signed up for a course with The Learning People in October but quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit for me. I immediately requested a cancellation and refund, explaining that I had not accessed or used any of the course materials due to technical issues with Percipio. Despite this, they refused to honor my request, hiding behind their rigid 14-day cooling-off policy—even though I was unable to evaluate the program properly due to access issues. To make matters worse, I proactively canceled my subscription back in October, yet they still took payments and are now demanding even more money. I have explained multiple times that this is financially impossible for me, given that I have not used their services at all, but they simply do not care. Their customer service is unhelpful and inflexible, prioritizing profit over fairness. If you're considering online learning, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. YouTube and LinkedIn Learning provide better resources for free, and you won’t have to deal with aggressive payment demands. I will be contacting Citizens Advice and a lawyer to explore my options. Save yourself the stress—stay away from The Learning People!
