Zero customer service, bad-faith behavior - Had to cancel flight to Colombo due to imposition of emergency and curfew in response to protests - More than a week on, nothing heard from Sri Lankan Airlines, unable to move with travel insurance claim as a result - Biz class upgrade was granted BEFORE the stated 48-hour window, just as protests were getting worse. Clearly playing pin-the-loss on pax/insurer Do not fly with UL even when things get better! Edited from 2-star to 1-star: UL acted swiftly following this review and a complaint on their Facebook page -- with a proforma, unhelpful, and non-empathetic response that simply directed ne to contact my ticket issuer that did not address the bad-faith upgrade issue. As the Brits might say, this is a complete s---tshow on their part.
