Poor service
1. We were required to show up at their office in Valencia and pay everything in advance. Despite sending our arrival time, when we called from the airport at 9:30am, we were told the offfice didn't open until 11. Then asked to please not show up right at 11 because they needed some time in the office before we arrived. Left to make our way there and waste time hanging out with three huge suitcases until they decided to open. We got the keys and were told there "should be some taxis" at the end of the street. No one accompanied us to the apartment to give us any further information about the place. First time I've ever encountered this. 2. Toilet didn't work when we arrived (this is why agents accompany guests to the rental properties) and remote control for the air conditioning had been removed. When we called to inquire, Angel took it upon himself to immediately insult "you Americans who just want to turn on the air conditioning all the time." The insult was unprofessional, and advertising a feature that isn't available borders on unethical. I'm currently covered in bug bites because the apartment was hot, and of course, there were no screens on the windows. 3. The system for rubbish disposal is complicated-all rubbish needs to be sorted, and the bins are down the street, around the corner and two blocks down the next street. It's almost unbelievable that they gave none of this information to the guests. Instead there were notes all over asking us to make sure and leave trash in the bins outside the door. Really unprofessional. 4. The paint was peeling in the bathrooms and should be repaired, due to hard water, the shower heads are crusty and gross, the outdoor area furniture is grey from weather, the induction stovetop is great, but difficult to operate, better instructions needed. To sum, service was really not good, and I certainly wouldn't rent from this outfit again.
