Mixed feelings but positive on balance
The teachers at Chrysalis have been fantastic, of a very high standard. Chrysalis are a very disorganised business which makes it frustrating to be a student with them. Overall I have enjoyed my studies but the response of external organisations to the Chrysalis training approach has been very negative. Many placements do not want to work with us due to the poor reputation that Chrysalis used to have before it became accredited, unfortunately this memory is yet to fade and Chrysalis will have to work hard to improve its reputation. Chrysalis does not make us have personal therapy and I believe it should. My coursemates are very sound, reflective and nourishing people to be around, which has made my experience overall positive.
