We are an electric only property...
We are an electric only property. My partner invited a representative from the company to come into our home and quote for a system that could (potentially) compete with our current Dimplex Quantum state-of-the-art night storage heaters. In short, the representative (sales person in disguise) had no knowledge of how our current (modern) system works, runs, and the flexibility it provides us, and quoted incorrect facts about the future viability of our system. Our modern storage heater system has been giving us (overnight charged at low off peak rates) easily adjustable 19 degree to 26 degree heat (to warm our home during colder months) throughout the day from around 7.30am until 11.30pm for around 8 years with zero problems. There were also… other comments made by the representative (which in our opinion) that should only have been said and/or commented by a NICEIC qualified electrician (which to our knowledge the person was not a qualified electrician) … we found this concerning. The running costs of their suggested (day unit rate usage) alternative electric radiator heating system were around 15% to 20% more expensive to run over a 24-hour period (total like for like KW hour input costs). As for their efficiency claims? Every property, design, and lifestyle of the person/s within each property is different… their claims are very subjective! We won’t be following through with this company! We’re sticking with our current system (Dimplex Quantum), which works for us, our property, and our lifestyle!!!
