I am very happy with GR-7
I am very happy with GR-7. I am not quite done with the 21-day, once-a-day treatment, but my hair has quite a bit of color again. I had become completely gray due to aging. I'm 61 years old. My hair was originally blond, then gradually turned light brown over time, then finally gray. Now my hair is a combination of light brown with some red and golden, and of course some grays still. Some of the hard-core grays on the side of the head have turned kind of golden; you can tell they are grays with a hue, but just overall my hair looks so much better. I do not want to look dyed, so I like the mixed look GR-7 has given me. And yet, I think things are going to continue to change with GR-7. Another plus is that my scalp seems to be healthier as well. In particular, I had several of those stubborn so-called precancers (scabs) on my scalp; the kind that dermatologists like to cut or freeze out. I had already dealt them a pretty good blow using a combination of items I put on my head (vit C, castor oil, etc.). However, I noticed that the three that just would not completely go away, went away after about 2 weeks of applying GR-7 and massaging my scalp with it. That was a pretty nice unintended benefit! So, I will continue to use this. It's a little on the pricey side, but hey. There is the matter of the smell that some people complain about. It's really not bad at all. I made the mistake of telling my wife about a person I read about who quit using GR-7 due to his family complaining about the smell. I believe I predisposed my wife, and she gives me a hard time. To be honest, she would be giving me a hard time about something else, so it's built in. I believe, in part, she does not like her husband looking younger. And so it goes. My kids don't notice the smell at all, and they just roll their eyes when my wife complains. You can perceive a slight smell, nothing major, when you put it on, and for about 1 hour or so, but then the smell goes away once the hair dries. So, I recommend putting it on first thing in the AM. That way the smell will be gone, especially when yo go to sleep. Again, I am happy with this product. Very easy to apply, very good results.
