Disappointing level of support when things go wrong & subsequent resolution
We went to the USA in June this year with Audley. The holiday was on the whole what we expected until we had a flight delay on our return. Due to storms in Miami our flight to Orlando was delayed and we missed our connection back to the UK. The customer support service that Audley rave about was useless and offered no help or solution. Our flights had been booked by Audley on American Airlines and Virgin Atlantic which are not linked, therefore we had no return tickets to the UK and had to pay for new tickets. All we get now are a few apologies and an offer of dinner instead of the £7000 plus additional cost we have had. Lesson learned, don't use an expensive travel agency and expect to be looked after if something goes wrong. Additional comments 10/12/2024 I am pleased to say that, following a number of conversations with Client Services Executive, Chloe from Audley Travel, we have reached a very satisfactory conclusion with a full refund of the additional monies we spent. We would like to thank Chloe for looking into the issues and for advocating our case to a satisfactory resolution. She has understood our concerns and acted to provide true customer service.
