Avoid this hotel
I find it deeply troubling and unacceptable that after my experience at your hotel you still feel comfortable hiding behind the excuse that “I chose a non refundable rate”. At 2am my boyfriend and I still could not sleep due to adjacent room’s snoring and another guest banging on the wall - also because of the noise. We then went on the terrace for a break from the noise to find that we had been locked out. To avoid spending the night out in the cold we had to perilously climb down the railing to the pool area (all those doors were also locked and unstaffed); we then had to navigate a pitch black alley with an uneven path barefoot. We eventually found our way around the streets and were let back into our room at 3am. It is also very generous of you to consider the room we were given as an “upgrade” given that it wraps around your elevator shaft. This means that on top on being locked out in the cold and not being able to sleep at night, we were also waken up at the break of dawn by every movement of the elevator. I expect you to reconsider your approval process for our voucher with your quality control department and to forward them this email. I also expect to reach a reasonable solution. I paid for 2 nights in your hotel and 1 was already a nightmare. If you cannot give me a full refund of the 2 nights I at least expect a 2 night voucher as an opportunity for you to change my mind. If not you can expect future clients to read this one star review on your already 2.2/5 rated Trustpilot page.
