Too slow
I’ve never been insured for private medical with such a long winded approval process in my life!! I was always with Axa but switched as received such a good offer - however the claims process is very long and not like anything I’ve experienced before. This wasn’t made clear when I took out the policy They will not even look at your claim until they receive your doctors letter, then it takes up to 5 days to approve a consultation then once you finally have your appointment the whole approval process starts again to receive treatment. Also had surgeons recommended by G&M but then once surgery letter is received they state they may not even pay the cost of the person they told you to use! Definitely avoid these Axa approve everything instantly. G&Ms long process definitely take away the park of having private medical and has caused stress and anxiety trying to get my surgery booked in.
