The reader itself seems to work. But be careful it is easy to click on an option in the app and you are charge $49.99 for the professional version. I contacted them immediately to cancel and they said my account would not be charged. However they did charge my credit card and I have been working for the last 6 days trying to get a refund from them. They do not reply.

They do not tell you how much shipping is going to be when you enter your order. I ordered a small quantity of metric screws and they could have been mailed for less than a dollar. They charged me $8.79 for shipping for $8.10 worth of screws.. They have quality products and have hard to find products, but their on line ordering system just sucks. All other companies tell you how much shipping will be before you finalize your order.
