Unable to port my current number then automatically charging me on a pay as you go package
I purchased a pay as you go sim card in early May 2025. For some reason unknown to me Lyca could not port my number from my old provider. I rang several times and received two reference numbers on this issue without success. Lyca simply didn't know why they couldn't port my number. I then gave up and went to another provider who ported the number within 24 hours. Lyca then took €9 euro automatically from my account for a second month bundle. I rang to cancel and received another complaint reference number. They then refused the refund saying I used the bundle even though I didn't. Have lodged another complaint requesting my refund based on the fact that I didn't use their service and it was supposed to be a Pay as you go package. I will update this review if I receive the €9 refund as promised.
