Not a good value for the cost
The first class I took, which was AutoCad, was not relevant to my career path. It was interesting, the instructor was helpful, but it was certainly not valuable as a designer. Clearly, I was ill-advised in taking this class. It seemed odd that one would be able to learn the Adobe Creative Suite in it's entirety in one week, but maybe NetCom had an exceptional system. They don't. I took this program to enhance my skillset, but it is impossible to learn in such a short time. One of the instructors was patient, helpful, but the other seemed to be lacking in teaching skills. This was barely an introduction, and may have been helpful to people who were already trained in the discipline, but it was terrible for a beginner. I was told I could read the book if I needed more information. I would never recommend that anyone take this program at this school. NY State paid my tuition, and I did complain to the Workforce people who sent me, but if I paid for this very expensive program I would have filed a complaint with the BBB.
