Resolved: Misleading shipping, no customer service
Made a purchase on 11/25, Adiago’s website offered Apple Pay and the shipping options said an upgraded service of FedEx 2 day was available for $5.75. I needed to receive the order by 12/4 for an event and decided to upgrade shipping. On 11/27 Adiago shipped my order and FedEx reported my item as shipped “home delivery” not two days and quoted 12/4 as the delivery date. I was unhappy about the misleading shipping but at least the item should arrive within a day of when I needed it. I emailed Adiago about the shipping issue and asked for a response. They did not respond. 12/4 has come and gone, and FedEx has managed to mishandle and misroute my package over and over again. Currently my delivery date is “pending, unknown.” On 12/3 the package was at my local FedEx facility and should have been loaded on a truck and delivered. Instead FedEx routed it to another city an hour away where it sat for 1.5 day, only to be misrouted to another facility an hour away on the other side of me, where it has sat and been scanned 4 times but still not actually gone anywhere. I’ve emailed Adiago again about my experience and requested a refund of all shipping charges as this is inexcusable. —— edited after interaction with the company: rating changed from 1 to 3 stars. On my third email and after posting here on trustpilot, I was able to connect with a human at Adagio. While I am still disappointed with my experience, when I was able to get a response via email I felt like I got a decent response as well as acknowledgment of the apple pay/shipping options issue. My shipping costs are being refunded as requested. I wish this had been a better experience end to end, and FedEx finally put my item on their truck today, so fingers crossed! If I drank tea, I’d be open to trying this company again, but do not choose FedEx as your shipping if you want your product in less than two weeks.
