Leanne Phillips - Hawkes Bay
My property manager is Leanne Phillips of the Hastings office. She is a gem. She’s friendly, kind, has our best interests at heart and, (mind my language) she’s a boss lady that gets shet done. Yesterday morning our front door lock broke while we were trying to leave the house. Our back down has a dead bolt and can’t be locked from the outside so we needed to sort the front door asap. I flicked Leanne an early morning message and zipped to work. It was stressful leaving knowing the door couldn’t be locked but as I said to Leanne I was silly to have wasted a minute stressing about it because it was safe in her hands. She sent a chap round asap who replaced the door handle and on Leanne’s go ahead also replaced the rollers on the door because they had deteriorated also. It was a breathe of fresh air coming home last night, not only do we have a new fully functioning handle that is way easier to operate, but also the door is rolling smoother than a Lindor Chocolate Ball when you have “3.30itis”. Leanne has been very helpful in the past and fed me knowledge on tenancy laws when I was helping a friend in an unfortunate landlord situation, and she’s always suggesting improvements to our home to the owner. On her last inspection she noticed a wooden fence on the property that was coming apart - something I’ve never given any thought to or have been phased about it since she got that fixed up I don’t hear a god awful creaking grindy noise in the middle of windy nights, I never realised that was what it was but Leanne just knows things. If we have to leave here in the future before we’re ready to buy I’ll be looking at properties run by Leanne.
