A lack of choice on cable colour cancelled out Zen
I am looking to install broadband and requested a white cable to connect but was informed by Zen that it could not make that commitment as it depended on what Openreach had in their van! They might have white but if they didn't and I ordered the broadband and cancelled as no white was available, I would have to pay a cancellation fee. This from the top Which recommeded service - what happened to consumer choice. I appreciate a swift response but fail to understand why Zen cannot offer the choice of a black of white cable and that the choice is in the hands of Openeach. Carrying two cable reels can't be too big an ask can it? Perhaps Openreach could provide their reasons for their current policy
