Dishonest Shipping Practices – Stay Far Away!
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was too egregious to ignore. I ordered a pair of trainers from Kicks Crew after their website explicitly stated that taxes and shipping for the UK would be a maximum of $50 (£30) That was a lie as I then received a bill for £78.21 for shipping and duty tax that they never mentioned during checkout. When I contacted customer service, they gave me the usual runaround: “Terms and conditions,” “regional differences,” “not our responsibility.” Sorry, but if your website clearly claims that the price shown includes all fees, that’s what customers expect. Burying the truth in fine print or blaming the courier doesn’t excuse outright deception. This company misleads customers with false promises, hoping you’ll just accept the extra cost once your card is charged and the shoes are in transit. It’s not just shady – it’s dishonest. The trainers themselves were average, nothing you couldn’t get elsewhere — but the lies and lack of transparency? That’s what makes this company a complete avoid at all costs.
