All their prices are secretly in USD
All their prices are secretly in USD, but there's no way on the website to a) actually clarify this, or b) change currency. Worse still, I contacted them through their live chat to determine if, in fact, the price is in USD (while I was located in Aus, booking an Aus hotel), and their Customer Service agent had no idea. He didn't even seem aware that multiple currencies use the '$' symbol - I had to explain to him that, actually, Australia, Canada, Singapore, New Zealand - all use the dollar symbol for their currency (...facepalm). This lack of transparency is highly deceptive - in fact, it is likely to be a calculated and purposeful misrepresentation designed to trick naive customers. All other booking websites have a currency selection feature, or will at least clarify what currency the price is listed in, in 'price details'. Shopper beware!
