Good place for therapy. Check your insurance first.
The therapist was great and the lessons were helpful. The psychiatrist was a bit inpatient but thorough. When I signed up I gave my insurance information and was under the impression they had checked with my insurance, especially when I got confirmation on my copay amount and my credit card was billed. BUT after just a few sessions my credit card started to get billed without informing me of any changes. I checked my settings and nothing was different. I was very confused because every charge had different invoice numbers. It wasn’t until I put the pressure on that I was finally told my copay was higher and it was my job to check with the insurance not theirs. If I had booked all the sessions they wanted me to with every reminder I would have ended up paying the same amount as out of pocket for one month which defeats the purpose of using insurance at all, but of course someone has to benefit, which I didn’t care since I was here for help. If I had known my copay ended being double I could have planned my sessions apart according to my budget. As someone that came for help, I didn’t think it was going to turn into one more thing I had to worry about. Check with your insurance before signing up, it’s a great place for therapy. I do recommend it. I would have loved to continue.
