Bad Information and Bad Customer Service
I bought tickets to Zac Brown Band at Fenway Park on June 27th. I bought my tickets in April. When I was getting the tickets the seating chart popped up, so I found the section that it said the tickets would be. I was super excited cause it showed them on the field. When I arrived at the concert I got help finding my seats and they had me in the lower section of the stands. My e-mail receipt said Seating Bowl P2 section B6 Row H seats 11-12. My tickets said R.F box 6 row H seats 11-12. I was mad because my receipt and my tickets didn't match. Also the seating chart that their site popped up showed the ONLY section labeled B6 as on the field. All of the people around me had the same issue. They all arrived at their seats and said "when I bought these it showed us on the field." I immediately e-mailed Music today to let them know I was upset and I believed I received the wrong tickets. They responded 3 days later and were callous and explained why I was wrong and didn't even apologize for the confusion they caused. I've worked in customer service for years and even if the customer is wrong it's good customer service to try and empathize with them. For example "I apologize if there was any confusion but the tickets that you received were correct for the price you paid." Here is what their response was: "Hello, The tickets you received were the tickets you paid for. As stated on your order confirmation email, your tickets were for the Seating Bowl P2 Sec B6, Row H, Seats ( 11 - 12). Had these been turf seats, your tickets would have been sold at the most expensive price level (P1) and would have said TURF instead of Seating Bowl. Thank you, Ticketing Customer Service Department" I will not be purchasing through this company again. Also I will be e-mailing the Zac Brown Band via their fan club to inform them how Musictoday treats their fans. Also judging by the reviews they get they'll go out of business soon anyway.
