I recently attended a two-day training…

I recently attended a two-day training course with Touchstone Education, hoping to gain valuable insights into property investment. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling misled and financially exploited. The course content, which could have been effectively delivered in a fraction of the time, was unnecessarily prolonged over two full days. Moreover, a significant portion of the sessions seemed dedicated to promoting their more expensive programs, costing upwards of £15,000, rather than providing the actionable knowledge I was seeking. This emphasis on upselling left me feeling that the primary objective was to encourage enrolment in additional courses rather than to educate participants. As a result, I felt pressured and disappointed, having invested both time and money into a program that did not deliver on its promises. Based on this experience, I would advise others seeking comprehensive property investment education to explore alternative resources that may better align with their learning objectives. I was initially enthusiastic about enrolling in Touchstone Education's Wealth Academy (WA). However, after reading numerous one-star reviews on Trustpilot, I reconsidered and ultimately decided against joining. Many reviewers highlighted that the courses are pre-recorded, and individuals who invested £15,000 felt that without full commitment, this substantial sum could be wasted. Additionally, the high-pressure sales tactics were concerning; when I declined the offer due to financial constraints, I was advised to consider using a credit card, which felt irresponsible given the uncertainty of recouping the investment. This experience led me to perceive the program as more focused on sales than genuine education. I would advise others to explore alternative property courses that are more affordable and offer practical guidance. As my partner wisely pointed out, investing £15,000 could be more effectively used as a deposit towards purchasing a property. Also wanted to add further that the two day programme which attracted approximately 180 attendees, each paying £99, generating around £17,820 in revenue. Throughout the event, participants were strongly pushed to enrol in an advanced program priced at £15,000, with claims that only 27 placements were available, creating a sense of urgency. By the time I left at 4:30 PM, 25 individuals had already enrolled, suggesting they were close to reaching their target of 27 participants, potentially generating an additional £405,000. This aggressive upselling strategy raises concerns about leveraging attendees' aspirations for financial gain, potentially prioritizing revenue generation over genuine educational value. Keep away from Touchstone education.
