a few months ago i was unable to…
a few months ago i was unable to deposit or withdraw from my CEX.IO account, now i cannot access their website. It advised my 'SMS delivery is limited in your country' but when i try to use google authenticator, the moble app crash out and on my PC its asking me to enter all my credentials as a lost device. this makes absolutely no sense. Update: the app advised to utilize Authenticator, and got this: Mind you the app told me i would get a response in 48 hours, not the same day CEX.IO Support Team 14 Jul 2025, 15:44 (2 days ago) to me Hello Dxxxx, I am contacting you regarding your request to disable the 2FA on your CEX.IO account. As much as I hate to bother you asking for additional information, in order to assure maximum safety and security and to prevent non-authorized access to your account, please send us a short video (up to 30 sec) where you state the following text (in English): "Hello, my name is *First name*, *Last name*, Date of Birth is *DDMMYYYY*, I do confirm that I am a CEX.IO customer and I want to disable 2FA on my account." In the video, please, hold your identity document and a piece of paper with "CEX.IO, 2FA disable" + your name and current date on it. Additionally, I have to emphasize, that we cannot open any external links and the video should not exceed 20Mb. Mind that this video will be processed exceptionally for the purposes of your identification as an account holder. Important! You have 48 hours to provide us with the requested video. Otherwise, we will be forced to reject your application for 2FA deactivation. I will be looking forward to your reply soon.
