Wouldn’t use again
I wouldn’t recommend JS Law to my friends and family. My estate agent recommended I use them and bring a first time buyer I thought it would be easiest option. I looked at reviews beforehand and saw a mixed bag so gave them the benefit of the doubt but I wish I went elsewhere. There was no chain either side, yet I had to chase everything. Even 2 weeks before my mortgage offer was due to expire I had many outstanding actions. Nothing was really explained to me, just received actions on the portal. I finally completed and exchanged on the day of my mortgage offer expired which was so unnecessarily stressful and took the excitement out of the whole process. I was in contact with my mortgage company having to get my offer extended as a back up as I couldn’t trust everything would be completed in time.
