False accusation

I was falsley accused at a time when I was on lockdown at a friend's home. I had discussion with my wife about attending for a voluntary interview at the police station with no solicitor. After reading information on the Monson Solicitor's website about the 'voluntary interview process', we decided against going alone. We contacted the firm and we were allocated Liam Kotrie to handle our case. This was a difficult time for my wife and I as the Covid situation prevented an interview straight away. After waiting for 5 months, we eventually had a date for attendance. During the waiting time, Liam (and Thomas, the paralegal) kept us informed of what was happening. Every time we contacted them, they were quick to respond. We had built up a trust relationship with Liam and his team during this time. When we were told, therefore, that Liam would be unavailable to attend the interview due to annual leave, we were devastated. Liam sought to put our minds at ease saying he was recommending a trusted colleague to attend the interview with me. We were able to meet with the trusted colleague, Graham, via Zoom beforehand. When he attended the interview with me, he instilled me with confidence in his ability to support me on what was to come. I came out of the interview with confidence that I had been supported and represented in a totally professional manner. We heard today that the case is not going to be taken any further. Even though my wife and I had debated in the beginning about using the firm due to cost, we totally believe that every penny we spent was well worth it.
