Poor customer service & buggy purchasing experience
Adagio occasionally has special offers they send by email. I have tried to take advantage of two of these, and had difficulties both times because of glitches in their online purchasing system. I frequently buy things online when I can for convenience, and I've never had so much difficulty with an online experience as I have with Adagio. What's worse is when I contacted their customer service, they apologized but did not make things right. For example, the free sample I was supposed to get will instead be available "the next time I make a purchase." This is after they acknowledged the problem being on their end--not having a robust e-commerce tool. They didn't even offer free shipping next time. Shame on them for making it the customer's problem! They ask questions about how they can improve things, but fundamentally they don't have the right attitude about customer service.
