giant Food associate who might as well be the chip

I went you your Giant Food Location in Derwood Md today and checked out at 5:48pm, per the receipt. Due the self check out process one of the items that I rung up was a different price then when I checked the price using the Giant app. The item was sitting on the shelf near the utensils in the baking isle above a tag that showed a price of $2.06, but on review was for a measuring cup. I didn't see another item anywhere in that area to find a price. So I used the price checking option on the app, and whats shown a price of $4.22. The item was a strainer that was made out of metal screen and back plastic, and there was simmilar strainers but smaller in a set for sell for around $5.50 so the price the app gave stemmed approrate in comparison. But when I went to pay a different prince of $6.62 was what it rang up as with a sale price of $6.02. I asked for help and the associate who came to help didn’t know what to do so she proceeded to get a manager I assume. At that time the manager approached me and I showed him the price that came up on the app and he advised me that my choices were to either pay the price that it rang up at or he could take it off order. He did ask me something so you were asking me to do what and I said match the price by reducing it to $4.22. The reason I was so adamant about this was because I had used $6.00 of my Giant rewards to be able to purchase this along with another item that was $2.99. unfortunately I was on an addition to pay the $6.02 amount that the representative had advisory is my only option so I had to have him remove it from my order. Which then forced me to use that giant grocery reward on food items that recovered by my EBT card. Which I find unacceptable. I went to great links to ensure that this would not be a problem I'm gonna make sure I had the proper amount of money checked the price and even cash in my rewards so that I would not have any issues then I get to the register ring everything up and I have an issue because your app is faulty or your customer service is bad and also your employees can't put products back where they belong to customers know the actual price when they pick them up. Due to all this I was embarrassed I got my benefits of rewards improperly used and I was punished repeatedly. I also felt that customer service representative that helped me was very dismissive very rude and condescending. I'm not sure if it was a manager he was a Caucasian man probably in his 30s with brown hair middle size in had a chip on his shoulder. If you were looking for somewhere where you disrespected treat like crap and no one cares this is real. As a whole Giant Food has gone down Hill dramatically and they need help because they have poor customer service poor quality of food and poor choices. You would think the one thing they could get right would be customer support or Customer Service because regardless of what's going on we are the bread and butter not the bread and butter
