It's now not even owned by Marriott!

It's now not even owned by Marriott. I had the unfortunate experience of wasting over £24K joining MVC. The value of the membership does not go up (in fact I gave the title back to them for £0). Trying to book weeks in my home location was becoming impossible, I was refused booking when you could just go on bookings.com and rent weeks at the same time. Maintenance was going up every year. Then during Covid the maintenance charges stayed the same, despite that obviously the costs were much less with no customers staying. It's just a very sophisticated money making machine that continually modifies the way it works. There is no transparency in the system, they could be even selling more rental weeks than are actually available, I also suspect that they keep ownership of the best weeks for themselves. My advice stay away and book your weeks on Bookings.com it will be cheaper!
