No protection from bad restaurants
I ordered food recently. Went to pick it up and found a restaurant full of employees not wearing masks during COVID. I left without my food and called delivery.com to complain and cancel my order. They called restaurant who lied and said they were wearing masks. Delivery told me someone had to pay the restaurant for making the food. They weren’t able to help me get my $ back or resolve this. When I told them I would just handle it w my cc company and asked for my $20 gift card to be refunded they told me if I dispute w my bank I can’t get my gift card back. Finally I got $10 back. Half of it. The customer service rep was very nice but couldn’t do much to help me - she’s following policy. I got nowhere. I’ve had issues w their website not working many times. Then other times their app doesn’t work properly. They don’t have a big selection of restaurants for delivery. They have supposedly lowered rates for restaurants but pass it on to customers as a service fee. Their coupon codes or discounts are not great. Sometimes $1,$3. Weird small amounts.
