Great service to find the right lawyer with transparent pricing
Great idea and concept to find specialized lawyers. It is difficult to find a lawyer who practices in the area of the legal matter at hand. One option is to search for law firms and contact them individually. As someone looking for legal help, it is not always obvious which legal area of expertise the matter falls under. So which law firms to contact is not obvious. Even upon contacting, not all respond in a timely manner. Finding out their fee structure is very tedious. The second option outside of ContractsCounsel was to use some subscription based legal services. However, their offer attempts to provide an answer within the subscription fee (no consultation charge for initial consultation), and at their low price, they cannot always find an expert in the right domain. So both older options did not work well, especially for legal matters that need custom advice. The ContractsCounsel process allows the lawyers to determine if the matter appears to be within their area of expertise, and I really like that. As long as the customer can describe the issue reasonably clearly without assuming the attorney-client privilege, I think this is a great process. In my case it helped me find a lawyer quickly.
