Never join the Nuffield Health Didsbury
I’ve been a member at the Didsbury branch for a while, but I’m really disappointed with how management prioritizes profit over member satisfaction. Recently, they canceled the Monday evening Functional Training session, which was extremely popular and always fully booked, often with a waiting list of 10-20 people. Instead of replacing it with a similar class on another day, they’ve used the same time slot and venue for chargeable group sessions. Didsbury is supposed to be a higher-tier gym with more expensive memberships compared to other branches like Bolton, Manchester Printworks, or Preston. The justification for the higher fees is supposed to be better facilities and more classes. However, similar classes that are included in the membership at other branches are turned into paid sessions at Didsbury. This is completely unacceptable. Then why should I pay higher-tier membership fees if I still have to pay extra for classes? It is crazy. It feels like management is more focused on squeezing every penny out of members rather than providing a good experience. Cancelling such a popular session without offering an alternative is ridiculous and shows a lack of consideration for loyal members.
