Nicola Handley , most professional and understanding
When Julie was diagnosed with mesothelioma we were advised to contact a specialist solicitor who would take on Julie’s case. We obviously didn’t know of any but at a SARAG/MESSY UK event in Leeds we were sat next to a lovely lady called Joy (whose husband, David, had mesothelioma). After chatting for a while we asked her if she could recommend one of the solicitors who had information stands around the room. Without hesitation Joy and David said, “Nicola from Irwin Mitchell,” and asked if we would like to be introduced. From the start of talking with Nicola we both felt comfortable with her. After a discussion about Julie’s case we all agreed to start proceedings. Obviously with Julie’s surgery and treatment the extra worry of legal proceedings seemed quite daunting but from the start Nicola was supportive, understanding and communicative. She put Julie at ease. All the way through Julie’s case Irwin Mitchell have been most professional and understanding. I cannot recommend them enough.
