Do not rent here!
I currently have an important issue with North Car Rentals and its subsidiary or partner Holding Cars in Morocco. I rented a car, for the first time with them, from November 30 to December 23 2024 in Casablanca, where I regularly rent cars with other providers. On December 2nd the whole security deposit has been taken from my bank account (18000drh), generating an additional 50 euros bank fee on my french account. By the way, all the other providers just block it from your credit card and unlock it at the release. On December 23rd, I dropped off the car at the airport, in an excellent body shape, cleaned and fueled (empty in Morocco) as I took it. The person at the airport checked it with no observations. Then I have been in touch with a person all along January to ask for a quick refund as it is an important amount of money, but they still told me it will be done until 30 days after drop off. On January 27th, when the 30 days is already expired and I have no money back, I am connected with Mr A***, apparently the moroccan manager. For more than 10 days, he tells me that the money transfer has been done but he never sends me any proof for that. On February 9th, I suggested he pay me on my moroccan account, so that he can make a quick immediate transfer. He tells me he is ok with that as it would be easier. But nothing happens, no proof of any transfer, and no money back. Today, February 12th, almost 20 days over the 30 days contract delay, I still not have my money back, even no proof that any transfer has been done. I definitely recommend not to use both of these firms that just seem to be scammers, keeping your money as long as possible with no reason.
