It would be amiss of us not to tell you…
It would be amiss of us not to tell you of our travel center experience. From start to finish it was abysmal, the airport taxi wasn’t there, the hotel was locked up entrance by key pad, lift not working due to the time of our arrival in the early hours. The hotel was for cyclists and not pensioners and civilisation was a 95 euros each way fare.When we arrived at Revenna for a 15 minute bus trip from the rail station to the port, TRAVEL Center wanted to charge us 160 euros, we did our own transportation.In all fairness once we had got on the Celebrity cruise and TC wasn’t involved it all went well. Until TC got involved at the arrival port to Rome airport and it went horribly wrong again, no taxi and the information on the back of our form was to Dubai and then California. We found out that it wasn’t where the taxi was waiting but somewhere else and they had tried to contact us on the information TC had given them, we had 10 missed calls on our home phone in the UK. We will never use them again and the compensation they gave us was a pittance to the amount of stress we endured.
