ALDI prices are now the same as Woolies
ALDI tries to pride itself on the fact that their prices are cheaper than Coles or Woolies. That used to be the case; I went shopping at ALDI Croydon on 11/1/21 and it turns out, I didn't save any money by shopping there. Their food prices are now exactly the same as Woolworths. The exception to their pricing is their beers which admittedly are cheaper than BWS or Liquorland. What makes the whole thing even more insulting is that they make you pack your own bags with no decrease in the cost of food shopping and their lack of variety. Unless you are purchasing beer at ALDI, don't bother shopping there anymore.
