All the reviews are correct. Do not disregard them. I disregarded or rather thought they were exaggerated, but they weren’t. We paid €500 for a booking of 7 days to pick up at Riga, Latvia. And our extras turned out to be almost €600, so it was €1100 for a trip of 7 days. Complete rip-off and very bad behaviour of the staff also. This is just the tip of it after we returned the car. Hopefully we aren’t saddled with a bad surprise of more charges subsequently (fingers crossed). But lesson learnt- NEVER HIRE FROM PANEK, read the fine print including country crossing, speed limit, delay on returning and everything. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. I HOPE THEY CRASH AND BURN!!
