Misleading itinerary - did not get to see the Christmas markets!

Took what was supposed to be an advent markets cruise but 2 of the 4 markets were CLOSED while we were there. One did not start until the following week and the other was closed due to a German holiday (day of the dead?), both of which ARosa should have been aware of. Instead we had 24 hours in Frankfurt and an evening in Mainz with nothing to do as everything was closed!!!

I did the Iceland Discovery Trip in…

I did the Iceland Discovery Trip in October 2021 (my fourth Intrepid Trip - I've also been to the Northern Territories in Australia, India & Nepal and Japan with them). Lots to see but be prepared for unpredictable Icelandic weather - the itinerary may have to be changed as happened to us when our final day was cancelled due to snow & high winds.
