Quick turnaround time, and an easy system to use
The tutor for my Ecology Level 3 course, Jill Edwards, always marks and returns the assignments very promptly and gives encouraging feedback. This is highly motivating. I like the fact that I can study at my own pace and fit the course around other commitments, with no time limit. The tech is easy to use, too, and when I had a query I received a clear and satisfactory response. One criticism is that the course materials could be improved. They are rather dry in form and content, and sometimes go into an incongruous and unnecessary depth of technical detail and specialist terminology (especially the section on fungi). However, it is easy to find appropriate source material elsewhere, which helps a lot when working on the assignments.
