1 Star is Too Generous
I regret to say that my experience with Marsh and Parsons has been overwhelmingly disappointing. From start to finish, the service provided was subpar, riddled with miscommunications, delays, and a lack of professionalism. For over 8 months, I have been dealing with severe damp issues in my building, which have significantly worsened my asthma. Despite numerous complaints, Marsh and Parsons have consistently avoided addressing the problem. I had to escalate the issue to the council, who confirmed the presence of damp, yet the agency still failed to take any corrective action. In my frustration, I decided to leave the property due to the ongoing health risks posed by the mould and damp. However, the agency then demanded I pay the entire percentage they charge the landlord, as stated in the contract – a percentage which I was never informed of in my contract. Despite the exorbitant fee, I chose to proceed and signed a new contract elsewhere, prioritizing my health. To my utter dismay, when I asked for the amount, they gave me a number, and then literally a few minutes later, they said, "Oh sorry, the amount is for the total remaining term of the contract." By this point, I had already paid a deposit somewhere else. This level of unprofessionalism and deceit is appalling. They have shown a complete disregard for my health and have engaged in what I can only describe as exploitative practices. I strongly advise anyone considering Marsh and Parsons to think twice. Their lack of accountability, poor communication, and unethical behavior have made this experience nothing short of a nightmare. 1 star is indeed too generous for the service I received.
