I had continual NBN dropouts
I had continual NBN dropouts. Testing suggested a Bridge-tap in my house's wiring. Roy from Fiber Tech responded quickly to my enquiry and arranged an appointment for the next day. Roy quickly identified multiple faults between the FTTC modem and the NBN node in the street, he also warned me that indications were of faults internal & external to the house. Due to the age, and number of modifications made throughout the years, Roy suggested running a new cable as the best, quickest, and, most cost effective solution for the internal wiring issues. Roy didn't take long to install the new cable in a discrete way, sympathetic to the house. Once his work was done, he retested the line and indentified faults external to the house and directed me to request my ISP to log the faults with the NBN. An NBN technician repaired the faults identified by Roy and I've had zero dropouts since. The NBN speed also increased by about 10%...thanks Roy!
