Very Interesting Marketing Strategy.
I am employed by a firm with a valuation of just over $11 billion on NASDAQ. Within the UK, I believe there are around 500 employees, distributed across various divisions, each acquired by the company over the years. I had arranged a call with someone named Christina to gain clarity on the Octopus EV proposal before discussing with our HR department. A mere 15 minutes prior to the scheduled call, I received an email (devoid of any apology) informing the meeting had been postponed by half an hour. Since then, there has been no further communication—no call, no explanation, no apology. If Octopus marketing strategy is to establish an exceptionally poor impression from the outset, I must say they have executed it flawlessly.
