Avoid if gluten free
Avoid if gluten free. Could have put our health at risk. Very disappointed with our visit to Stick n Sushi. We were initially asked to leave the restaurant to allow a filtered capacity. We obliged and returned in 20 mins. On return, before being seated, we specified to a manager about having coeliac disease and gluten requirements. We were told that they catered for gluten free on the menu and the chef would be made aware. Only after ordering several drinks and a bottle of wine - were we told the food is prepared in an open kitchen and they do not guarantee the food is gluten free and in fact is very likely to be cross contaminated. Subsequently, we requested to speak to the manager to whom we had previously spoken with and was appalled with the couldn't care less attitude. It then came to light that the so-called policy was to ask if an allergy is severe after you've ordered your drinks and racked up a bill.
