Quite good but lots of room ( and need ) for improvement
I am only a few months in to Life Assure Medical Alert. I think there is value in this service. For my limited experience I believe there is room for improvement. 1) When I responded to the add I was promised a watch which would be part of the Alert service, and which would be free for hearing about the program. When the watch didn't arrive I asked Why & was told I would be getting a better device that I would pay for. 2) The better device if I recall correctly will work in a larger geographic area, and has GPS capability. That sounds like a positive and an important ability . The device is an awkward tool - hanging by a string around my neck, otherwise unsecured & responsable for a few wrong allerts. The device in my opinion has a short battery life and spends a fair amount of time plugged in to recharge it. I have had to leave the device home when going out because it needs charging. I find the device awkward in bed and often do not wear it in bed and I am not protected. Having worn fitness tracker and or a smart watch for many years now I believe you could adopt some of their capabilities and improve your service. A watch worn on the wrist is not going to float around possibly creating error alerts. Watch technology now includes GPS and messaging- and many can go a week without recharging The ones I have used also had very good apps and worked well with my cell phone. They were not uncomfortable in bed.
