Fixed fees are great until the job scope changes

The fixed upfront callout fee model works perfectly for standard jobs. Where it gets complicated is when the client's 'simple faucet swap' turns into a corroded supply line situation. The in-app scope-change request process exists but it's clunky and requires the client to re-confirm before I can proceed, which adds dead time on-site. I've stood around waiting 15 minutes for a client to check their phone. The process needs to be faster.
